This three-day Conference is aimed specifically at Enterprise Architecture practitioners and those directly involved in the management and oversight of Enterprise Architecture. The event has its own agenda.
The Architecture Forum will meet together initially. The meeting will be opened by David Jackson, IBM and Chair of the Architecture Forum. After the announcement of the results of the election of officers, David will hand over to the new Chair. David has indicated his willingness to provide support for the incoming Chair. At 10:00 the members will be invited to split into 2 groups: 1. TOGAF Product Management - facilitated by Garry Doherty, The Open Group TOGAF Product Manager; 2. TOGAF Experiences and Requirements - facilitated by Allen Brown, The Open Group President and CEO. This is intended to be an interactive session where members can exchange their experiences of using TOGAF and what would make TOGAF even better for their enterprise. This session will also allow members to review the outcomes of the APC session, "I have downloaded TOGAF, now what" from Stream 2, 4pm on Tuesday
The Forum will re-assemble at 4pm to work on forward agenda planning and close the day with a joint meeting with the SOA Work Group
Friday morning will be reserved for report backs from existing Architecture Forum projects and from the 2 groups that met on Thursday. |
