16:15 Work Program Review
This session will review the whole work program of the SOA Working Group, including:
  • Definition of SOA;
  • SOA Case Studies;
  • Ontologies for SOA;
  • SOA Governance;
  • SOA, Enterprise Architecture, and TOGAF;
  • SOA Reference Architecture;
  • SOA Maturity Model;
  • Business-Driven SOA;
  • Liaisons with other bodies; and
  • Forward Plans.

09:00 SOA, Enterprise Architecture and TOGAF
The SOA Working Group and the Architecture Forum are working on this topic, with the aim of producing a Practical Guide to developing an SOA using TOGAF. This session will review the work to date and discuss forward direction. Architecture Forum Members are welcome to participate.

11:00 SOA and the Virtual Enterprise
This discussion, led by Stuart Boardman of CGI, will address the role of SOA in the context of the virtual enterprise, including Web 2.0.
11:30 Work Distribution
Discussion of how to gain more member involvement in SOA Work Group activities by creating localised, regional teams.
12:00 Requirements for End Point Security and Architectures for De-Perimeterisation
This will be a joint discussion with The Open Group's Security Forum on issues related to SOA that were originally raised by the Jericho Forum. (See the position papers on the Jericho Forum website.)

14:00 SOA Governance
This session will progress the SOA Governance project of the Working Group.

16:00 SOA Reference Architecture and Maturity Model
This session, led by Jorge Diaz of IBM, will progress the proposed Reference Architecture and Maturity Model projects of the Working Group.
