The Open Group Unleash Innovation at Edinburgh Summit in April
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 4, 2024: The Open Group, the vendor-neutral technology standards organization, is hosting The Open Group Summit in Edinburgh April 22 - 25, 2024. The event will bring together experts, government officials, industry leaders, and experienced practitioners to debate about the intersection of Enterprise Architecture (EA), Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainability.
The event will kick off with a range of sessions covering challenges posed by the new world of hyper-enterprise systems, the growth of AI, and the role of standards in controlling these system developments. Attendees will hear from IBM’s Phil Tetlow and Paul Homan about Ecosystems Architecture and AI, as well as DXC Technology’s Rob Akershoek, who will discuss the impact of AI on IT management.
On Tuesday, the event agenda will be focused on the role of EA and industry standards, and how IT specialists and businesses are dealing with the demands of the digital revolution and requirements for increasing sustainability and reducing emissions. Speakers from Capgemini and EY will share case studies of implementing The Open Group Open Footprint™ data model, and Rajesh Radhakrishnan from Connectria will talk about Sustainability as a Service.
On Wednesday, attendees will have a chance to join a workshop on using AI to address the demands of Ecosystems Architecture, led by experts from IBM, Honda, and the British Computer Institute.
