Kingdee Becomes First Chinese Platinum Member in The Open Group

Enterprise Software Leader Provides Localized Access to TOGAF™ Products and Services via The Open Group China and Promotes Boundaryless Information Flow™ as a Global Standard

THE OPEN GROUP CONFERENCE, SEATTLE, Feb. 1, 2010 – The Open Group today announced that Kingdee, a leading provider of enterprise management software, SOA middleware, e-Government, and e-Business solutions in China and the Asia-Pacific region, and a leader in the Chinese software industry, has become a Platinum Member of the organization. Kingdee joins other multinational companies and IT industry leaders such as Capgemini, HP, IBM, SAP and Sun Microsystems, as a Platinum Member. Additionally, Kingdee has been The Open Group franchise partner representing the organization in China since February 2009.

As a Platinum Member, Kingdee will have a seat on The Open Group’s Governing Board and will continue to participate in the Architecture Forum. The group will also continue to promote the adoption of TOGAF™ 9 and SOA Reference Architecture in China and further the understanding and definition of Boundaryless Information Flow™ as global standards. Additionally, starting in March 2010, Kingdee - via The Open Group China - will co-host networking and thought-leadership events across the country. The first event will be an enterprise architecture and SOA conference in Beijing on March 18.

As the franchise partner in the region, Kingdee’s aim remains to increase national awareness of The Open Group’s vision of Boundaryless Information Flow™ in order to enable access to integrated information, within and among enterprises, based on open standards and global interoperability.
