Ed is the Senior Engineering Director for Compliance and Certification Initiatives for Intel Corporation. Over the past 35 years Ed has worked in numerous standards organizations as a Committee Chair, WG Chair and Board member. His expertise in Conformance Testing, Test Tool development, Lab Development and Audits of 3rd party labs, along with his background in Business Development and Product Marketing is very diverse. He has worked within the following Standards Bodies: IEEE, ETSI, WMAX, WiGig, Wi-Fi Alliance, NFC, GSMA, GCF and OCF as part of Intel’s Next Generation Standards Technology Group. As a Chair, Ed was instrumental in developing Certification Programs for a number of the SDOs that he has participated in. Intel is supportive in having Ed serve as a Co-Chair in the Certification Working Group for the Open Group Process Automation Forum.
