OTTF Global Outreach Efforts

Facilitating global adoption of trusted technology standards

Threats to supply chain integrity are a global problem that impacts everyone in the IT industry. A successful solution requires international adoption by government and enterprise customers and large and small vendors who are all part of the supply chain, and who share a critical interest in:

  • Reducing risk and compliance costs
  • Protecting operational assets
  • Fostering innovation

The global outreach effort within The Open Group Trusted Technology Forum (OTTF)™ is reaching out to governments, policy makers, large enterprise customers and other standards organizations around the world to discuss their concerns and requirements, and to increase awareness of the Open Trusted Technology Provider Standard - Mitigating Maliciously Tainted and Counterfeit Products - V1.1 (O-TTPS), approved by ISO/IEC as ISO/IEC 20243, and our O-TTPS Certification Program

A primary goal of the OTTF is to facilitate consensus and rationalize efforts across governments, acquisition entities, and other global supply chain security standards efforts. The Forum provides a venue for establishing a unified voice for technology and communications vendors to provide input into international standards and policy initiatives related to supply chain integrity and secure engineering practices.

The Forum has a Global Outreach Committee, an Acquisition Work Stream and a Standards Harmonization Work Stream to support this outreach effort. If you are interested in being a part of this important global effort please contact us.
