David McCall is a Senior Director of Industrial Standards at Intel Corporation.
He brings over 20 years of experience in both technical and business aspects of the high-tech industry, with a focus on unlicensed wireless, communications software and standardisation.
He currently holds several leadership positions in various groups that are important to Industrial Automation: The Open Group's Open Process Automation Forum; the OPC Foundation's FLC Steering Committee; IEEE 802.1.
David also manages Intel's strategy for participation in many other organisations. He joined Intel in 2011 following roles in a couple of startups including Vice President of the PC Business Unit at Bluetooth-leader CSR. David hails from Northern Ireland and holds a Masters degree in Electronics from the University of Edinburgh. He has called the USA home for the last 22 years.
