How to Participate

Welcome, thank you for your participation!

Goals, expectations, objectives, and why your involvement is important.

The Open Group ArchiMate® Forum members request feedback from the broader community of trainers, tool vendors, and practitioners of the ArchiMate Specification. We released the ArchiMate 3.2 Specification in March of 2023, which was considered a minor update however, they feel that now is the time to consider a more substantial update.

The members are thrilled to start this feedback campaign and have drafted a document that will help guide the process. Please note - the members of the Forum will be the ones to determine which pieces of feedback will be accepted or not accepted into the specification. Members are not required to accept feedback nor to provide individual justification for their decision, but will when appropriate.

If your organization is interested in becoming a member of the ArchiMate Forum, please see the 'Membership' tab listed above to start the process.

Tentative Timeline

Discussions within the Forum and potential publication.

Many variables need to be considered within this timeline. Tool vendor testing and certification program discussions are not factored into the timetable until the forum has a better understanding of what feedback is submitted.
