Since August 2013 when PCi Tec joined The Open Trusted Technology Forum.

Q: What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?
I’m the Director of Federal Programs at PCi Tec. PCi Tec is a Value Added Reseller selling to the Federal Government.

Q: Why did your organization become a member and what does your involvement look like?
PCi Tec joined as a Silver member in OTTF in August 2013. We wanted to get involved in the OTTF to work with our IT manufacturers and Federal Government clients in helping to develop, foster and implement the O-TTPS.

Q: How has membership in The Open Group benefited you, your organization and the industry at large?
Even though we have just joined, we are learning about the process, communicating with current members and exchanging ideas to foster a positive approach to the issue of building with integrity.

Q: What contributions do you hope to bring to The Open Group?
I hope we can bring the unique experience of a VAR and how that relates into the distribution channel for the delivery of secure goods.

Q: Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?
It is imperative that all facets of a goods channel be controlled. Not only manufacturers.

I am a Big Brother to a Little Brother. We get together often and do all sorts of fun events. I also like to Kayak down the Potomac River and fish.

    Q. What social networks do you belong to?

Both myself and the entire PCi Tec team look forward to working with all involved in the OTTF.
