All trainers used in the delivery of Accredited Training Courses must be certified, qualified, and have one of the following:
- A relevant training qualification that has recognition in the geography in which it was obtained
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant training experience
- Completed a "train the trainer" program

- TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation – TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner – TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Bridge
- TOGAF® Business Architecture Foundation
- TOGAF® Essentials 2018 – Integrating Risk and Security – TOGAF® Digital Specialist – TOGAF® Agile Specialist – TOGAF® EA Leader
All trainers used in the delivery of Accredited Training Courses must have sufficient experience in and knowledge of the topic to be able to deliver the course in a clear and concise manner.
Trainers who are authorized to deliver all levels of ArchiMate 3 Accredited Training Courses:
- Are ArchiMate 3 Certified
- Have successfully passed the ArchiMate Essentials 3.1 certification credential if the certification was earned prior to 2019
- Have successfully passed the ArchiMate Essentials 3.2 certification credential
- Hold the associated badges
Trainers who are authorized to deliver DPBoK Accredited Training Courses:
- Are DPBoK Foundation Certified
- Hold the associated badge
Trainers who are authorized to deliver IT4IT™ 3 Foundation Accredited Training Courses:
- Are IT4IT™ 3 Foundation Certified
- Hold the associated badge
Trainers who are authorized to deliver Open Agile Architecture Practitioner Accredited Training Courses:
- Are Open Agile Architecture Practitioner Certified
- Hold the associated badge
Trainers who are authorized to deliver Open FAIR™ 2
- Are Open FAIR™ 2
- Hold the associated badge
Trainers who are authorized to deliver TOGAF 9 Accredited Training Courses:
- Are TOGAF 9 Certified
- Have passed the TOGAF Essentials 2018 certification credential
- Hold the associated badges
Trainers who are authorized to deliver all levels of TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Accredited Training Courses:
- Have attended a TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner (Bridge) Accredited Training Course
- Completed the Learning Studies during the ATC delivery they attended
- Have been nominated to receive the Applied Badge
- Are TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Certified
- Hold all badges required
Trainers who are authorized to deliver all levels of TOGAF Business Architecture Accredited Training Courses:
- Are TOGAF Business Architecture Foundation Certified
- Hold the associated badges
Trainers who are authorized to deliver the TOGAF Certification Credentials Accredited Training Courses:
- Are TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Certified or TOGAF 9 Certified
- Have successfully passed the applicable Certification Credential assessment (TOGAF® Essentials 2018 – Integrating Risk and Security – TOGAF® Digital Specialist – TOGAF® Agile Specialist – TOGAF® EA Leader)
